Itinerary Details
Day 1 : Entebbe
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the lodge or to the hotel for the night, at Entebbe protea hotel hotel or Boma hotel Entebbe.
Day 2: Kampala – Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary-Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast your adventure begins by driving northwest towards Masindi for a nature walk at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary-Nakasongola, the breeding project which saw the rebirth of the endangered white rhinoceros and it is the only place where you can track white rhinos moreover on foot in Uganda with close view walking freely in the reserve. The sanctuary also a home to many woodland birds like hoopoes, ruppell’s long tailed starlings to mention but a few. Have lunch at Amuka safari lodge and proceed to Murchison for the night at Paraa Lodge or Murchison River lodge.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, have a game drive and explore Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, this offers beautiful sceneries of savannah grasslands, acacia in the north and tropical forests in the south, the Nile delta on L. Albert, Northern bank. As you view and take memorable photographs of the animals in the wildness, expect to find elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, and waterbucks, bushbucks, spotted hyenas among others. Drive to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, In the afternoon, you take the boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls the world’s strongest fall with spectacular rainbow view where the fall forces its way through a narrow gorge with thunderous water . It is amazing the concentration of wildlife in the bank of the river Nile, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird’s species, like African eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, Egyptian geese and much more. Return to the lodge and retire for the day. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge or Murchison River lodge. Meal plan is full board

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park- Kibale Forest National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and head to Kibale National park “the primate capital of the world” The park harbors the greatest variety of primates especially Baboons and chimpanzees and also protects a large block of rain forest birds. Check in at the lodge for lunch, in the evening Forest walks and primate viewing will be carried out, expect to view different tree species and hundreds of birds. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge or Chimp’s nest
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale-Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, enter the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Encounter the chimpanzees in their natural environment. Kibale national park with its 766 sq km of rain tropical forest contains the highest primate’s density in the world. Among the species which you can see include black and white colobus, red tailed monkey and vervet monkey. Lunch at primate lodge or chimp’s nest. After lunch, you leave Kibale national park heading southwest along the Rift Valley escarpment, with breathtaking panoramic sceneries as you drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The road follows along the Rwenzori mountain ranges to Kasese town. As you enter the park, you will be embraced by singing birds, swinging flora plus animals in their natural habitat eating un thoughtfully. Check in at the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Mweya Safari Lodge or Park view safari lodge.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the early morning, take a game drive along the tracks of the national park, in the Northern sectors and towards Lake George and Kasenyi village. You might see lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, and warthogs. Queen Elizabeth lies in the unique landscapes and views of crater lakes and the Albertine Rift Valley, which make this area special and unforgettable. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, take the most exciting safari by boat from Mweya peninsula along Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife, bird’s life and opportunities for good photographs. Moreover, you will see plenty of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants while drinking from the channel and you will have higher chances of witnessing predator-prey reactions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, Mweya Safari Lodge or Park view safari lodge. Meal plan is Full Board.
Day 7: Kyambura – Ishasha Sector
After breakfast, drive to Kyambura Gorge, a deep forested gorge along river Kyambura within Queen Elizabeth National Park. The location is worth a visit and an adventurous activity! Descend the gorge for a nature walk in search for the chimpanzees. Kyambura has a population of about 50 chimpanzees. Have lunch at the lodge (Mweya safari lodge or Park view safari lodge and in the afternoon leave the Northern sector of Queen Elizabeth and head southwards to the Ishasha sector, where you find the rain tropical forests that harbor the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Savannah Resort-Ishasha or Ishasha jungle lodge.
Day 8: Ishasha – Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, have an exciting game drive in search for the “tree climbing lions” which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they lie resting on top of Figs trees (see picture above). See also herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes and more. You will have packed lunch. Reach Bwindi National Park via Kisoro by evening for dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Gorilla lodge or Gorilla Safari lodge. Meal plan is Full Board.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
In the morning after your breakfast, you enter the rain tropical forest of Bwindi for the gorilla trekking safari. The activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 370 gorillas, which is half the world population according to 2007 gorilla population surveys. You have one hour for observing the primates and their behaviors, while taking photographs. Due to the nature of this activity, as it can take a whole day tracking the gorillas depending on where they were left the previous day! We shall ensure that you take packed lunch and water with you in the bag and for this you might need the support of available porters. Relax In the evening at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo safari lodge or Gorilla safari lodge. Meal plan is half board.
Day 10: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park- Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for one of the most extraordinary wildlife and birding experience in the afternoon. Cruise by boat/canoeing as you cross Lake Bunyonyi and its Islands named by travelers as “the little Switzerland of Africa”. The forested green islands on the lake are home to different species of endemic birds which the guide will help you to spot. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Bird nest or Bunyonyi Crater bay. Meal plan is full board.
Day 11: Lake Bunyonyi-Kampala Via Mbarara
After having breakfast at your own pace, you will be transferred back to Kampala in an exciting road drive via Mbarara. You will have lunch at Igongo cultural centre in Biharwe and also make a stopover “at the Equator in Kayabwe” have a feel of being at 0 latitude with neither belonging to Southern or Northern hemisphere!, visit the craft shop for souvenirs from the pearl of Africa and after continue with the journey to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at Laico protea hotel Entebbe or Boma hotel Entebbe
Day 12: Leisure Trip To Entebbe
Reserved for your leisure trip to Entebbe town. You will relax at the hotel, have your breakfast, you may engage in indoor sports activities and later in the afternoon proceed to the white sandy beach (Spennar) beach on the shores of Lake Victoria. Lunch served at Spennar beach:
Your lunch shall be served along the sandy beach in the shades of large palm trees. You can order local Ugandan or intercontinental dishes – whole grilled tilapia, pizza, some Indian dishes etc, all served with a refreshing cool drink. The grilled Uganda tilapia is a visitor’s favorite, so you must try it! Dinner and over night at protea hotel Entebbe or Boma hotel Entebbe.
Day 13: Entebbe-Kampala City Tour
After breakfast and briefing, start your urban circuit which will include; Baha’i temple the one of its kind in the whole of Africa, drive to Namugongo Martyrs shrine, Uganda museum, Ndere troupe for performing arts and experience in totality, Ugandan cultures through music and dance. En route lunch after Namugongo at Sky Hotel International. Dinner and overnight at Ndere centre.
Day 14: Kampala-Source Of The Nile In Jinja
After breakfast you will head to Jinja, where the Nile derives its joy, fame and origin. Have a stopover at Ssezibwa falls in Mukono District and have a glance at the River which is said to be born by human beings! Driving through the Mabira tropical forest, watch out for the Colobus monkeys and birds along the way. Have Lunch in Jinja town. After lunch, prepare for the most thrilling activity at the source of the Nile called white water rafting (half day). Other adventurous activities include; Wild Nile jets boating, the Nile high bungee jumping. End your exciting adventure and proceed to your hotel for relaxation from fatigue. Dinner and over night at Nile village resort or wild waters lodge
Day 15: Kayaking, Quad Biking Or Horse Riding
After breakfast head to the source of the Nile for morning Nile kayaking and later in the afternoon, we proceed for either quad biking or horse riding depending on your interest. However, you MUST confirm which activity you wish to engage in and we confirm beforehand. End your exciting adventure and proceed to your hotel for relaxation from fatigue. Lunch is at the source of river Nile. Dinner and over night at Protea hotel Entebbe or Boma
Day 16: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Experience
After breakfast we pick you up from the hotel, you are transferred the meeting point in Entebbe at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. You will take (45 minutes to an hour) speed boat ride on Lake Victoria as you cross over to the Ngamba Island.
On arrival at the Island, you are given a short introduction and briefing on the sanctuary like why it was established and the back ground as well. The staff is informative, passionate and able to answer all questions. It is obvious that they care about the chimps very much. They can tell you, without thinking, the story of each & every chimp & how they got there & can identify each chimp by name immediately upon sight – and there are almost 50 of them. It is also obvious that the chimps love the caretakers – playing with them & wanting to hang around with them. You will reach in time for feeding the Chimpanzee and you will watch them feed. Watching the chimps ride on each other’s backs, roll around, raise their hand for food & use sticks to get the food.
Spend about 1 hour with the chimps and later in the afternoon take a rest at the pool side or the lake shores and have your lunch as you wait for the next feeding of the chimps to watch them feed. The sanctuary is a habitat for our closest relatives the chimpanzees, – interesting to seeing them jumping along the branches and seriously these are our fellow humans because they respond as people make communications to them. Get involved in Uganda’s night life
After a long circuit of Uganda’s tourism destinations, end your trip to Uganda by relaxing at the hotel or lodge, get involved in various sport facilities at the hotel. In the evening, visit a bar or night club in Entebbe or Kampala and have a feel of Uganda’s night life, dance to African rhythms as you say farewell to Uganda.
Day 17: Departure
Reserved for your departure from Entebbe international airport.
